Custom Learning Design and Development
S2 Learning's high-quality custom eLearning, mLearning, simulations, instructor-led training (ILT), and blended solutions help you measurably improve performance.
Analysis
S2 Learning takes the time at the beginning of every relationship to understand our clients’ business objectives and existing learning environment. We then develop, implement, and manage results-driven learning initiatives that improve learner productivity, retention, and performance.
We realize that you may already have a learning infrastructure in place. That's why we offer you flexibility in choosing the solutions that best suit your needs. Whether it's a complete outsourcing of development, or simply filling in where and how you need us, we will work with you to create a practical approach that best meets your needs.
Design
S2 Learning was founded upon the belief that learning can be authentic, relevant, engaging, and fun while still addressing the needs of the organization and producing measurable outcomes.
The key to achieving this is through exceptional instructional design. S2 Learning's experienced and accomplished instructional designers have worked with Fortune 500 companies, educational publishers, and universities like Wal-Mart, McGraw-Hill, and Ohio University, to name just a few.
While we love graphics, video, animations, and the latest technology as much as anyone, we also recognize that there is a time and place for everything. We have some extremely talented and creative people on staff, but above all we are an instructional-design company. We use technology and multimedia to efficiently and effectively deliver content, but we never use resources when they are not a good fit for either the content being taught or the organization doing the training. We'll partner with you to create a practical approach that ensures effectiveness without unnecessary expense.
Production
S2 Learning combines the ADDIE model, our experience, rapid and agile development concepts, and communication technology to deliver higher quality training – faster and for less.
Our proprietary design methodology is based upon the ADDIE model, but has been refined over the years to ensure better client communication, more opportunities for iterative adjustments, and a more consistent product – all while accelerating the design process. In short, our methodology provides more opportunities for your review and input to ensure a higher quality product, while also reducing development time and cost.
Our designers take an immersive approach to analysis, using interviews, guided questioning, literature review, task analysis, needs assessment, observation, and a number of other techniques to quickly gather subject-matter expertise and translate it into learner-focused instruction.
Delivery
S2 Learning knows that "one size" does not fit all – for our clients or their learners.
Our expertise is in not only delivering eLearning, mLearning, simulations, instructor-led training (ILT), and blended models, but also in understanding how to ensure that the best possible approach is selected. We'll work with you to evaluate the benefits of ILT activities such as group work and role-play, compared to the advantages of just-in-time or point-of-need training provided by eLearning. We'll help you evaluate the cost, scalability, and "shelf life" of the different options. We'll also help you factor in the learning-style preferences of your learners.
More importantly, we'll help you develop a holistic approach that will strengthen all of your training programs by offering a learner-centric blend of instructional strategies to best achieve your goals while making the most of your budget.
Assessment
S2 Learning knows that the success of a training program is not measured by the quality of the materials, but on the demonstrated behaviors that support the achievement of your company's goals.
With limited resources and streamlined budgets, it's important to illustrate the value of learning programs qualitatively. We incorporate a systematic assessment model that ensures learning outcomes are directly tied to organizational objectives, measured at the correct cognitive level, and performed over time – enabling you to clearly articulate the value of your learning initiatives.
